Animal Health Products

At Castex we have been instrumental in the development of a number of different products designed for the administration of Anthelminitics, Magnesium Supplements, Zinc and Trace Elements to cattle and sheep.

These products are the result of years of research, some of which have been developed with well-known large veterinary companies. Our specialty is the release mechanism by which these products work. We maintain patents in this field and are actively involved in further research and development projects throughout the world.

Our veterinary products use components manufactured by the facilities in our own foundry, extrusion and machine shops. We a dedicated plastic injection moulding suite producing high quality components from medical grade ridged PVC.

We also have a modern separate building containing a dedicated tabletting section using both dry and wet granulation techniques with both single station and rotary tablet press capabilities of up to 50t.  Contained in the same building are various assembly processes and packing facilities.

Our in-house analytical and research laboratories provide routine checking of materials and finished goods, as well as continual research and development.

Castex Products is regulated by the UK Veterinary Medicines Directorate for all of its licenced animal welfare products, and holds current manufacturing licences.
