At Castex we have a light alloy foundry and decades of experience in casting, specialising in Magnesium, Aluminum, and Zinc Alloys.  We also produce special alloys for sacrificial anodes and instrument manufacturers.

In our foundry we have casting facilities for gravity die and low-pressure medium volume production of light alloy castings.  We have extrusion facilities for extruding small light alloy sections with a press capacity of up to 500 tones.

Our fabrication and machine shop has a variety of machine tools for the finishing of castings and the fabrication of wrought products. We also have a fully equipped auto lathe facility to provide turned parts.

Castex has a long history of designing, developing, and manufacturing a growing range of hand tools for the agricultural and builders hardware trade. Most of these products are unique to Castex and are sold directly to the wholesale trade. These products are manufactured at Castex using a wide range of different engineering skills.
